First Hive Opening of the Season!

CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR NEW BEEKEEPERS

Veteran beekeepers will share their knowledge on what new beekeepers must do to manage their colony successfully throughout summer and into fall and winter.

We will break into small groups for hands on hive openings led by our senior beekeepers. New beekeepers will have a chance to learn close up what to look for during a weekly hive inspections.

Please bring hand-held snacks to share. The club will provide drinks.

Please dress appropriately with your bee jacket and/or veil.
